Which one is better – MBA in IT or MBA in Finance

An MBA is the most sought after degree in the post-graduation world. With increase in pay and availability of a better profile what’s there to hate? A student often applies for a full time MBA (2 year) immediately after completing his graduation studies. Also, there are candidates who work for a few years and then pursue a one year MBA, this enhances their skillset in an already competitive and thriving industry. An MBA is majorly divided into 4 different fields of expertise, they are Marketing, Finance, Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR). Let us focus on the Finance and IT field.

Finance

An MBA in Finance as the name suggests deals with money, a specialization in this field has tremendous opportunities as finance will always be an integral aspect of any business. Any candidate who has enrolled for an MBA in Finance will be taught to enhance his skillset in mathematics, economics and financial theory. He will be trained to balance management and mathematics, a special skill highly sought after by corporates.
